Brad Richardson, PhD, will present "Examination of Reductions in Health Disparities" at the Ninth Health Disparities Conference February 29 – March 2, 2016.  The presentation focuses on reductions in health disparities associated with evidence based home visiting programs and covers analysis of factors including race and ethnicity, trauma, family functioning and support, social, behavioral, mental health and other health related factors and how home visiting programs may provide education and information that improve outcomes within ethnic/racial groups and reduce disparities between groups.  The Conference is sponsored by the Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities, and includes pharmacists, physicians, nurses, physician assistants, allied health professionals, health policy makers, researchers, health educators, public and community health leaders, and students whose work incorporates the use of multidisciplinary partnerships that build collaborations to eliminate health disparities, achieve health equity, and create healthier communities.
