The Cancer Forum of the American Public Health Association hosted a webinar on trends in cancer deaths and disparities. The webinar presenter was Rebecca Siegel, Strategic Director of Surveillance Information Services in the Intramural Research Department at the American Cancer Society. She is the lead author of the annual Cancer Statistics and Cancer Facts & Figures publication, oversees the production of educational publications produced by the Surveillance and Health Services Research Program of the American Cancer Society, and conducts descriptive studies with a focus on disparities in cancer occurrence. Ms. Siegel received a BS in Genetics from the University of Georgia and an MPH in Epidemiology from Emory University.
